Imagine stumbling upon a little Pit Bull puppy in dire need of help. That’s exactly what happened to Joey Wagner in Nova Scotia. The poor pup was battling mange and his condition needed immediate medical intervention. I’m grateful to say that because Joey didn’t waste a moment, the fur baby was whisked away to a vet, and yep, that swift choice made all the difference — it saved the puppy’s life!

The team of caregivers at the vet clinic made a heartfelt decision not to put the recovering Pit Bull through the normal adoption cycle. Wanting only the best for the brave survivor, they got in touch with an extraordinary individual who had already proven his compassion. Can you guess? It was none other than the man who’d first lent a helping hand – Joey Wagner himself.

We’re back at the veterinary clinic, and you should’ve seen it – the moment Wagner walked in, it was like a scene from a feel-good movie. There was Mojo, the little fighter now flourishing at 3 years old, absolutely thrilled to be reunited with his hero. Fast forward a bit, and Mojo’s not just another pup; he’s a beloved member of the Wagner household, fully embraced by the family’s warmth. It’s amazing to know he’s living his best life, utterly cherished and pampered in his forever home.
