Epic dogs tales
I’ve heard some pretty touching stories, but there’s one about a Pit Bull from Chattanooga, Tennessee, that sticks in my mind. This dog mom’s love and tenacity are nothing short of extraordinary. In her old neighborhood, where whispers of illegal activities clung to the walls, she was left behind when her human companions took off. A local kind soul noticed this Pit Bull and did her best to help by providing food, but she soon realized that this furry mom needed more.
As fate would have it, this incredible dog was found sheltering her tiny pups, which led the same woman to set up a makeshift safe haven in her yard. But she knew they needed more help, so she sent a video to someone who could make a difference. That person was Audray Luck, a real guardian angel from Luck’s Rescue, who came all the way out to Chattanooga.
The moment she met this dog, nicknamed Happy by Audray—because of her unbreakable spirit—she knew there was something special about her. Despite being ditched and having to scratch out an existence for herself and her seven puppies, Happy’s tail never stopped wagging. Before Happy came to Audray’s attention, she had cleverly relocated her little ones to a neighborhood, probably understanding they’d stand a better chance if humans stepped in.
“Happy’s only goal was to see her little ones thrive,” Audray shared during an interview with Cuddle Buddies. Touched by her story, Audray vowed to brighten up their world. She quickly found a foster spot for the puppies, planning to look after Happy until she found her own foster home.
According to Audray, Happy was a tad anxious being away from her puppies at first. However, she didn’t have to wait too long before she moved into a caring foster home herself. When Happy saw her puppies again, thanks to a surprise visit from Audray, her reaction was simply euphoric. And despite having been forced to walk a rough road, Happy never ceased to be anything but loving. In fact, Audray even posted a clip of Happy basking in happiness on the rescue’s Instagram, and let me tell you, it’s the cutest thing ever!

“Regardless of all she’s been through, she’s so ready to spread love,” Audray noted with admiration. In her foster home, Happy hasn’t just connected with her new human pals but even made a bunny buddy, can you believe it?
And now, Happy’s future is just getting brighter. All that’s missing is that one person who falls head over heels for her and offers her the permanent, loving home she so richly deserves. Hats off to the compassionate neighbor and to Luck’s Rescue for steering this Pit Bull family toward their fairy-tale ending.
